Lectures and continuous interactive discussions of gastroenterological and hepatological medical cases within the framework of schools and conferences of the Armenian Pediatric Association and courses of clinical residents of YSMU.

 

  • Scientific activity 

1.  Defense of scientific theses 

 “Investigation of antibiotic resistance in H. pylori associated gastroduodenal diseases of stomach and duodenum”, performed by T. M. Shahinyan (Assistant of the Department of Pediatrics N2, YSMU). The defense is planned in 2021. The work is carried out within the framework of Swiss-Armenian cooperation. Scientific heads - Professor G. Amaryan /Armenia/, Professor Ch. Berger /head of the Gastroenterology Service of the University Children’s Hospital of Zurich, Switzerland/. The work has been awarded 3 times with international grants. 

2. Scientific research

“Study of combined forms of Familial Mediterranean Fever and Inflammatory Bowel Disease”, responsible researcher - G. G. Amaryan (Professor of the Department of Pediatrics N2, YSMU). The work is carried out with participation of Professor Ch. Berger.

3. Participation in international gastroenterology and hepatology conferences and congresses /ESPGHAN, UEG/ with oral presentation and/or posters  

4. Continuous publication of scientific articles and abstracts
