The social worker of the medical center provides the following services:

• assistance in purchasing hearing aids for the little beneficiaries of the “Rehabilitation Center for Hearing Impaired Children”, referral to charitable organizations, rehabilitation services, sports and handicraft groups

• organization of educational issues in inclusive institutions

• individual and group seminars aimed at parent awareness, provision of literature

• individual and family social counseling 

• collection and presentation of  information on the various social needs (clothes, food, transportation, “Paros” Foundation, appointment of a pension etc) of the hospital beneficiaries, referral to relevant structures /local and international NGOs, state and non-state services, charitable foundations, human rights defender structures, etc/ in order to solve the problems of the beneficiary
